Five (5) Locations Available: San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Valley, San Joaquin Valley, Fresno, or State of Hawai’i

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trauma Sales Representative throughout five (5) locations to join our team to represent a full line of orthopedic trauma products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of advanced orthopedic trauma devices to surgeons, hospitals, and ASC within the assigned territory. This individual will preferably have established relationships that can be leveraged to sell this advanced line of trauma products. This position may be a 1099 independent contractor role or a W2 employee role, depending on experience and whether or not you have your own business. Compensation commensurate with experience and whether you are a 1099 or W2.

This position is REMOTE, but candidates MUST live within the designated region or within a reasonable commute distance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Promote and sell orthopedic trauma products to healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff, and procurement teams.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the healthcare sector.

Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the orthopedic trauma product line and its applications.
  • Provide product demonstrations, training, and support to healthcare professionals to ensure optimal product utilization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in orthopedic trauma care.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and provide post-sales support to address any customer inquiries or issues.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and threats within the territory.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, customer needs, and product performance.

Qualifications:

Education:

  •       Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  •       Proven sales experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on orthopedic trauma products preferred.
  •       Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  •       Strong network of contacts within the healthcare and orthopedic sectors is a plus.

Skills:

  •       Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  •       Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  •       Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  •       Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
